Its story
Lifestyle
The chest form forces others, with ghost energy, to gather coins and hops slowly under its weight. The roaming form flees, turns invisible, and seeks its lost chest, then both become Gholdengo with 999 coins.
In the anime
It controlled Roy, then Dot and Ult, to fill its chest with coins. It hid aboard the Brave Olivine, Dot caught it, and it evolved into Gholdengo.
Name origin
Gimmighoul may come from "gimme" (give me) and "ghoul"; it also sounds like "gimme gold."
