Its story

Appearance

Gholdengo is a golden humanoid made of one thousand Gimmighoul coins, with oval eyes and a crooked smile. A chest hangs from its belt, and the buckle shows 1,000.

Lifestyle

Sociable, it likes cities: its coins soften blows or fly as shots, and it builds a flying board. It evolves from Gimmighoul.

In the anime

Dot's Gimmighoul becomes Gholdengo during a battle against Chalce.

Name origin

Gholdengo mixes ghoul or ghost, golden, and possibly go. Its golden shape suggests an award statuette, and its board a surfer.

Did you know?

Its flying board can also carry up to two people.
That board echoes the El Dorado raft, where a gold-covered chief made offerings.
