Its story

Appearance

Gogoat is a goat with shaggy brown fur and a white muzzle. Two curving black horns sweep over its back, covered by a thick green leafy mane.

Lifestyle

For five thousand years people have ridden it: it reads emotions through its horns and becomes one with its rider. It lives in mountain herds and evolves from Skiddo.

In the anime

Alexa's Gogoat is her first Pokémon: she caught it after it helped her climb a cliff. Ramos's Gogoat is defeated by Ash's Frogadier.

Name origin

It is based on a goat and a motorcycle: its horns resemble low handlebars. Gogoat may come from go, the Japanese gōgō for a rumbling sound, and goat.
