Lifestyle
Its shell is hard as diamond, and its claws can cleave seawater. It meditates in seaside caves, evolves from Wimpod, and finishes a foe the moment an opening appears.

Guzma's Golisopod battles Ash's Pikachu, then returns to its Poké Ball through Emergency Exit before a winner is decided.
Name origin
Golisopod may combine Goliath and isopod. It is based on the giant isopod and the armor of a samurai.
