Appearance
Sandygast is a mound of pale sand and gray pebbles. A tunnel forms its mouth, two pebbles its eyes, a red shovel tops its head, and two small mounds form its arms.

Lifestyle
It is born on beaches from grudges that seep into the sand. It drains life force and makes children enlarge it, then evolves into Palossand.
In the anime
In the series, one Sandygast took control of Kiawe. Another evolved into Palossand.
Name origin
Sandygast combines sandy and ghast, meaning an evil spirit. It looks like a small heap of sand not yet shaped into a castle.
