Appearance
Goomy looks like a slug or a blob of slime: light purple below, paler above, with five green spots. Two pairs of antenna-like horns rise from its head, longer at the back.

Its story
Lifestyle
Its body is mostly water under slippery mucus, so blows slide off. It stays in damp shade, dies if it dries out, and evolves into Sliggoo, then Goodra.
In the anime
Ash's Goomy debuts in the series when Ash catches it. It later becomes Sliggoo, then Goodra.
Name origin
It seems based on slugs, nudibranchs, and the blue dragon, a sea slug. The name Goomy may blend goo with gummy or slimy.
