Savage by nature. Called an ancestor or alternate Donphan, its true origin is unknown. One escapee grew giant after eating a mysterious herb.

In the series, it battles Coral's Glalie and a wild Scream Tail.
Name origin
Great Tusk means exactly “great tusk.” It is based on Donphan, mammoths or mastodons, with dinosaur-like spikes and tail.
