Its story

Appearance

Scream Tail is pink and round, with pointed ears, tiny fangs, and large yellow eyes like makeup. A long fur tuft, darker pink at the tip, hangs down its back, besides its real tail.

Lifestyle

It levitates instead of walking and attacks anyone who comes near. It may be an ancient ancestor or alternate-timeline counterpart of Jigglypuff, and it screams instead of singing.

In the anime

Coral accidentally catches it in Area Zero and nicknames it Screamypuff. She later Terastallizes it into a Fairy type against Liko, Roy, and Dot.

Name origin

Scream Tail joins scream and tail: Jigglypuff’s sounds and its long tuft, with a tribal tone. Scream Tail is the aggressive, punk, caveman-like contrast to a gentle Jigglypuff.
