Appearance
Hakamo-o is a gray bipedal reptile with red eyes and a beak-like snout. Yellow scales mark its forehead and neck, and large red scales cover its arms.

Its story
Lifestyle
It leaves its fellows to train alone, dances while clanging its scales, then gives a war cry. Damaged armor is worn with pride. It evolves from Jangmo-o into Kommo-o.
In the anime
Three Hakamo-o allied to a Totem Kommo-o battle Lillie and Gladion, then lose to Silvally and Snowy.
Name origin
It seems based on a theropod with ankylosaur traits. Its cries allude to the haka, and its scales echo cymbals and castanets. The English name may join haka with moʻo, Hawaiian for lizard or dragon.
