A gray bipedal reptile in scales as hard as steel, with yellow and red markings. An elaborate headdress nearly hides its small eyes, white feathers cover its shoulders, and scale chains hang down its back.

Its story
Lifestyle
Once its harsh training ends, it protects Jangmo-o from a distance. Unwilling to fight the weak, it clangs its scales to scare off the timid.
In the anime
A Totem Kommo-o of Vast Poni Canyon battles Lillie and Gladion, then falls to Fairy-type Silvally. Another helps the All-Out Brothers in a race, and Cynthia owns one.
Name origin
Despite the reptilian look, its fur links it to the pangolin, a dinosaur, and a monk. The name may blend commotion with moʻo, Hawaiian for lizard or dragon.
