« In imitation of Chansey, it keeps a round stone tucked into its belly pouch and cherishes it dearly. It gets along well with children and will sometimes play house with them for fun. »

Lifestyle
Unable to produce an Egg yet, it carries a stone to imitate Chansey. It treasures that stone and evolves into Chansey, then Blissey. The species is female only.

Brock's hatches from his Egg in the series. Surprisingly strong for her size, she carries and pummels heavy objects, then evolves into Chansey.
Name origin
Designed by Emi Yoshida, it suggests an infant, an egg cup, and little girls playing with dolls. Happiny may combine happiness with tiny or teeny.
