Lifestyle
This mischief-maker sneaks into houses to steal and sucks up the negative emotions it causes through its nose. It lives in groups and evolves into Morgrem, then Grimmsnarl.
In the anime
Three Impidimp stole Chloe's bag in the Glimwood Tangle. They returned it and helped her find a flower to heal a Galarian Rapidash.
Name origin
Impidimp draws on European imps, goblins, gremlins, and boggarts, and perhaps the Lincoln Imp. Its name may blend imp, impede, and impudent.
Did you know?
- A male-only species. With no negative emotions to eat, it grows irritable.
- With Morgrem, the only pink Dark-type Pokémon.
- Shown at E3 2019, but not officially acknowledged before Sword and Shield.
