Kirlia evolves from Ralts, then into Gardevoir or, if male, Gallade. Its horns amplify its power, so it can see the future and open a rip between dimensions.
In the anime
Butler's Kirlia performs a magic act at a festival, then fights an Absol. A wild Kirlia and a Gardevoir send Team Rocket flying near a sick Ralts.
Name origin
Its name may come from Kirlian photography, a process supposed to reveal an aura. It suggests a ballet dancer and the älvor, young forest girls dancing in meadows.
