Appearance
Klang looks like three interlocking gears. Two small ones have six light-gray teeth; the big one has eight medium-gray teeth, and each wheel seems to show a face.

Its story
Lifestyle
When angry, it spins faster and fires tiny gears; Klang speak by turning their gears in different directions. It evolves from Klink into Klinklang.
In the anime
Mannes uses it with Klink and Klinklang to power a music machine, tend his grounds, and fly his helicopter.
Name origin
Ken Sugimori's idea, drawn by Keiko Moritsugu: meshing gears, perhaps a sun gear and its planet gears. Klang may echo clang, the sound of metal striking hard.
