Appearance
Klefki is a small grayish-white Pokémon like a ring holding four keys. Its mouth is a keyhole, and an old key with two teeth rises from the top of its head.

Lifestyle
Even-tempered, it feeds on metal ions. It takes keys, especially master keys, to eat and to scare predators away.
In the anime
It first appears when its keys take Pikachu and his friends through several worlds. Monsieur Pierre's holds the Princess Keys.
Name origin
Klefki may blend clef, key, and perhaps Greek kleftis, thief. Junichi Masuda said the idea came from old mansions and secret keys.
