Lifestyle
Intelligent and courageous, it judges a foe's strength and flees if it cannot win. Obedient and quiet, it appeals to beginners. It evolves into Herdier, then Stoutland.

Lenora's Lillipup defeats Ash's Tepig in a Gym battle. In one film, Luis's Lillipup nearly falls into the water; Damon's Gothitelle saves it.
Name origin
Its model is the Yorkshire Terrier. The name Lillipup may blend lilliputian and pup.
