Lifestyle
It reads auras to foresee moves, and senses feelings from a kilometer away. Loyal and rare, it trains deep in the mountains and can Mega Evolve.
In the anime
Sealed in Sir Aaron's staff for a thousand years, he was freed by Ash, then sacrificed himself to save the Tree of Beginning. Ash's own Lucario later Mega Evolved.
Name origin
Lucario may come from Latin lupus, "wolf," and Cairo. Its jackal-like look evokes the Egyptian god Anubis.
