Lifestyle
It lives in shallow, warm tropical seas and often nests in Corsola's branches. Two kissing Luvdisc fly briefly; left alone, it grows disheartened.
In the anime
Misty and Daisy each own a Luvdisc, Caserin and Luverin, targeted by Butch and Cassidy. Juan's beats Ash's Grovyle, then loses to Corphish.
Name origin
Luvdisc may blend love and discus, a fish. The design suggests the discus and other fish that seem to kiss, shaped like a heart.
