Lifestyle
Pectoral fins push it along the deep seafloor, and its toothless mouth sucks up tiny organisms. Unchanged for 100 million years, it is called already perfect.

Several Relicanth lead Adam and Evelyn to a treasure. Ash, May, and Professor Alden also come upon a lake full of them.
Name origin
It is based on the coelacanth, a living fossil rediscovered in 1938. The English name blends relic, relict, and coelacanth.
