Appearance
Meowth is a small cream feline, brown at the tips of its hind paws and curled tail. Its oval head has long whiskers, slit eyes, two pointed teeth, and a gold coin on its forehead.

Its story
Lifestyle
Nocturnal, it roams cities, gathers what sparkles, and often fights Murkrow for it. Given to Alolan royalty, it turns light blue-gray; in Galar, it evolves into Perrserker.
In the anime
Once a stray on the streets of Hollywood, he learned to walk upright and talk out of love for Meowzie. He is the only Meowth who speaks in the series.
Name origin
Meowth draws on the maneki-neko, the Japanese lucky cat.

- It normally walks on all fours, yet it is almost always shown standing.
- The clone made from him stays mute: speech is learned, not inborn.
