In towns, its whiskers sense the air and find prey it cannot see. Fickle, it will scratch even its own Trainer.

Giovanni's Persian is almost always at his side. It battles only once, as a fearsome opponent, and Meowth treats it as a rival.
Name origin
Its name comes from the Persian cat, but it suggests the leopard, cougar, and Siamese. In Alola it recalls the British Shorthair, a royal cat with a big round head.
