Lifestyle
Its sweet milk heals tired Pokémon and people. It lives in grasslands and on farms, and falls ill if it is not milked every day.

Whitney's easily defeats every one of Ash's Pokémon in their Gym battle. Ash later wins the rematch with Pikachu.
Name origin
It is based on dairy cows, especially Jersey and Holstein cattle. Miltank blends milk with tank, a container for liquid.
