It evolves from Chansey and is the final form of Happiny. Its egg brings happiness, and it rushes to nurse anyone who is sad or ill.

Happy Town's Nurse Joy has a Blissey who knew Jessie from Pokémon Nurse School. In Alola, Nurse Joys are assisted by Blissey.
Name origin
It resembles a nurse, sharing Nurse Joy's colors and hair. Blissey blends bliss with the ending -sey from Chansey.
