Born in the stratosphere, it eats dust, then falls when too heavy. Without its shell, its core soon fades unless it enters a Poké Ball.
In the anime
Ash's Poipole befriends an orange Minior, then must say goodbye as it fades. As a child, Sophocles also said goodbye to a red Minior.
Name origin
Minior may come from meteor, with mini or core. It suggests a shooting star, a star-shaped candy, and a capsule whose color shows when opened.
