Appearance
Natu is a tiny, nearly round green bird with a red crest, a yellow beak, and small yellow-and-red wings striped in black. Its wings are too small for flight.

Its story
Lifestyle
It hops and climbs near ruins and forests, pecking food while avoiding cactus spines. Cautious and easily spooked, it evolves into Xatu.
In the anime
Two Natu told fortunes for McKenzie and his father. McKenzie's, nicknamed Naughty, did worse because McKenzie had stage fright.
Name origin
Natu looks like a quetzal, and maybe a parrot, a kakapo, or a quail. Its name may come from nature and native.
