It lives in Ultra Deep Sea and sometimes reaches Alola through an Ultra Wormhole. Its neurotoxin pushes the host’s abilities to the extreme to protect itself.

A Nihilego carried Lusamine away. A Shiny nicknamed Lillie later saved Mohn, and Gladion welcomed it into the family before catching it.
Name origin
This glass jellyfish suggests the moon jellyfish and some parasites. Nihilego may combine the Latin nihil, “nothing,” and ego, “I.”
