Lifestyle
Called the female Evolution of Cosmog, it lives in Ultra Space and opens Ultra Wormholes. It absorbs light and can drown daylight in darkness.

A Lunala flees Necrozma with Nebby through an Ultra Wormhole, then returns while Ash and his classmates face Necrozma’s effects on Alola.
Name origin
The name Lunala may blend Latin luna, “moon,” and ala, “wing,” perhaps also lunula, a small crescent.
