Appearance
Nincada is a small, whitish, insect-like Pokémon, nearly blind. It has a pointed snout, whisker-like antennae, small green wings, and sharp claws on brown forelegs.

Its story
Lifestyle
It digs nests at the foot of trees and keeps clear of sunlight. It evolves into Ninjask and can, at the same time, also become Shedinja.
In the anime
It belongs to Keanu, a boy who lives alone in his Secret Base, then becomes the target of a Team Rocket scheme.
Name origin
The design follows a cicada nymph, linked to ninjas and their hiding techniques. Nincada may combine ninja and cicada.
