Lifestyle
It sleeps by day in pitch-black caves and leaves only at night. Its ears emit sounds, including ultrasound, and it evolves into Noivern.

Ash's male Noibat hatches from an Egg, then evolves. Others, stirred up by Team Rocket, meet Ash and his friends.
Name origin
Its design blends fruit bats, insect-eating bats, and wyverns. Noibat may combine noise and bat.
