Lifestyle
It uses the shell like a knife to fight, crack berries, and strike back. It evolves into Dewott, then Samurott.
In the anime
In "In The Shadow of Zekrom!", Ash's Oshawott leaves Professor Juniper's lab, saves them from Team Rocket, and joins the team.
Name origin
Yusuke Ohmura designed it last: the line follows a samurai and Japanese culture. Oshawott may blend ocean, shell, water, wash, and otter.
Did you know?
- If the scalchop is lost or badly damaged, a new one grows from its navel.
- It learned to sharpen it on stones by watching people.
- In Hisui, its final evolution is Hisuian Samurott.
