Its story

Appearance

Dewott is a bipedal otter with a light blue coat, a red nose, and long white whiskers. Dark blue fur circles its waist, with two sharp shells on its thighs.

Lifestyle

Studious and stern, it trains endlessly with its shells, and people have shaped their swordplay on its moves. It evolves from Oshawott into Samurott, or Hisuian Samurott, Dark type.

In the anime

Several Dewott, including Cadbury's Caesar, enter the Scalchop King contest on Scalchop Island. Halsey's helps put out fires.

Name origin

Yusuke Ohmura designed this samurai line: child, young warrior, then commander. Dewott blends a sea otter and a samurai; its name may join dew, water, and otter.
