Appearance
Panpour is a blue and cream monkey whose eyes are usually closed. A wave-like crest stores nutrient-rich water, and its long tail ends in a clover shape.

Its story
Lifestyle
It sprays water from its tail to stay damp or water plants. It is mostly found near water. It evolves into Simipour.
In the anime
Under Cress, it debuts with Chili's Pansear and Cilan's Pansage, and defeats Ash's Pikachu in a Gym battle. Later, Goh catches one in Opelucid City.
Name origin
Takao Unno designed it for Cress: at that restaurant Gym, its hands look like oven mitts. Its head suggests a fountain, its closed eyes “see no evil,” and Panpour blends Pan and pour.
Did you know?
- Its hands seem to lack fingers aside from a thumb.
- It may be a visual pun on Sea-Monkeys.
