Its story
Lifestyle
It lives in forests and volcanic caves, roasts berries before eating them, and is very intelligent. It evolves into Simisear.
In the anime
With Chili, it loses a Gym battle to Ash's Tepig. Goh later catches one in Opelucid City.
Name origin
Takao Unno designed it for the Striaton restaurant Gym, with hands like oven mitts. Pansear may blend Pan with sear, ear, seer, and pan searing.
