Its story
Lifestyle
It is so forgetful that it waits for a fresh command even right after receiving one. Fearless, it follows people in cities and the countryside and evolves into Tranquill, then Unfezant.
In the anime
Ash battles and catches a Pidove left behind after a flock attacks. She later evolves into Tranquill, then Unfezant.
Name origin
Reiko Tanoue designed it after pigeons, with a heart that puns the Japanese words for pigeon and heart. Pidove may blend pigeon with dove or love.
