Its story
Lifestyle
Its sharp memory always leads it back to its Trainer and its nest. It is said to live deep in forests, and it evolves from Pidove, then into Unfezant.
In the anime
Ash's Pidove becomes a Tranquill after helping clear Venipede from Castelia City. It later evolves into Unfezant.
Name origin
It is based on the oriental turtle dove, and the entries also suggest the homing pigeon. Tranquill may blend tranquil, meaning calm, and quill.
