Lifestyle
Because it can hardly see, it tracks by smell and constantly charges. Thick fur lets it endure icy cold, and it evolves from Swinub into Mamoswine.
In the anime
Pryce finds his Piloswine frozen in a cave, lets go of his coldness, then uses it against Ash. Dawn's Swinub becomes a Piloswine, then a Mamoswine.
Name origin
It suggests a wild boar mixed with a woolly mammoth, muskox, yak, and highland cattle. Piloswine blends pilose, fine hair, and swine, pig.
