Lifestyle
Earnest and tidy, it hates getting dirty, especially on its head. Found in Paldea but not native there, it evolves into Quaxwell, then Quaquaval.
In the anime
A wild Pokémon aboard the Brave Olivine, it is caught by Dot. It Terastallizes into a Water type against Iono, then becomes Quaxwell.
Name origin
It draws on a crested duckling; the coif suggests a beret, a turban, or a pompadour. Quaxly may blend quack, wax, and duckling.
Did you know?
- The only first partner foreign to the region where it was introduced.
- A very rare long sleep leaves the coif dry and messy.
- If the cream dries, the whole coif falls apart.
