Its story
Lifestyle
Serious and hardworking, it learns dances by watching, then trains constantly before evolving from Quaxly into Quaquaval. Its crest acts as a shield, but body and mind weaken if the crest is messed up.
In the anime
Dot's Quaxly evolves into Quaxwell during her Tera Training battle against Larry, then Terastallizes into a Water type. It later becomes Quaquaval.
Name origin
It may be based on a crested duck, a ballet dancer, and carnival performers. Quaxwell may combine quack, aqua, wax, well, swell, and the name Maxwell.
