Its story
Lifestyle
It evolves from Cutiefly. It visits fields only in clear weather, because rain soils the pollen in its hair, and rolls Pollen Puffs that ease tiredness.
In the anime
As Mina's partner, it helps her understand the emotions it senses. Nemona sends it out with her Pawmot against Roy's Crocalor and Lucario.
Name origin
It recalls the bee fly, a brood parasite, plus fairies and changelings that mimic and replace others. Ribombee may blend ribbon, Bombyliidae, and bee.
