Its story
Lifestyle
It gathers Berries, ferments them in its shell, and drinks the juice. Its juices dissolve rock so it can hide underneath. It lives in the mountains and does not evolve.
In the anime
An old man harvests juice from several Shuckle to make medicine. A purple friend makes juice that draws Pokémon toward anyone who drinks it. Team Rocket tries to steal it.
Name origin
Shuckle may blend shuck, a husk, with turtle. Its look suggests an endolith that lives in porous rock or shells.
