Appearance
Skorupi looks like an oversized, pale purple scorpion. Its claws and tail have swapped roles, so it has two stingers and a tail that ends in a claw.

Its story
Lifestyle
It buries itself in sand, grabs prey with its tail, and injects poison. It lives in deserts, dry places, and some marshes, then evolves into Drapion.
In the anime
In the animated series, Skorupi first appears with Aaron, often outside its Poké Ball. Others later belong to Team Flare Grunts.
Name origin
The design suggests a scorpion, with some traits of a vinegarroon. The names Skorupi and Scorupi appear to be shortenings of scorpion.
