Lifestyle
Its antlers distort reality by shifting the air around them; staring into them causes dizziness. It lives in herds in mountain forests and evolves into Wyrdeer.
In the anime
Brock helps a young Stantler separated from its herd. Frightened, the fawn creates an illusion of a stampeding herd, but Brock sees through it and reunites them.
Name origin
Stantler may blend startle, stare, or stag with antler. It suggests a sika deer or a reindeer, and eyeball balloons used to scare birds away.
