Lifestyle
Its antenna releases a defensive syrup or a scent that attracts prey, and oil on its feet lets it skate on water. It evolves into Masquerain.

Name origin
Surskit is based on a water strider. Its name may mix surf, surface, and skitter, and its body recalls a water chestnut and a curling stone.
Did you know?
- It is also known to appear in puddles after rainstorms.
- It is the only Water-type, barring alternate forms, that cannot learn Surf through an HM.
- At night it takes Dewpider's place in the same area, where Dewpider appears by day.
