Appearance
Ursaluna is a large dark-brown quadrupedal bear. Gray fur covers its humped back, lined with nine spikes, and a pale-yellow circle like a full moon marks its forehead.

Lifestyle
Ursaring is believed to have evolved in Hisui's swamps under a full moon. As Teddiursa's final form, Ursaluna handles peat there and its nose finds the missing.

In Horizons, the red mark unleashes the full force of the Bloodmoon form's spirit, yet it is also its weak spot. Hamber has just caught it in Kitakami.
Name origin
The species suggests the Ussuri brown bear of Hokkaido. The head pattern evokes a full moon shining through clouds. Ursaluna joins ursa, Latin for bear, and luna, Latin for moon.
