Its story
Lifestyle
It lives in electric places and explodes at the slightest bump; the Hisuian kind fires all its current through the hole, often laughing. It evolves into Electrode.
In the anime
Koga kept several in his Gym as traps. Three injured Ash's Kingler so badly it missed the Silver Conference.
Name origin
Ken Sugimori designed it as a living Poké Ball. Voltorb may come from "volt" and "orb".
