Its story
Lifestyle
Usually found at the ocean's edge. Its left claw pries open Shellder and Cloyster shells, yet is so heavy it unbalances and quickly tires Kingler. It evolves from Krabby.
In the anime
Ash's Krabby becomes Kingler in the first round of the Indigo Plateau Conference against Mandi's Exeggutor. Giovanni later lends one to Jessie, James, and Meowth at the Viridian Gym.
Name origin
It resembles a fiddler crab, often with one larger claw, and the spike crown suggests the king crab. Kingler may combine king crab and angler.

- As Gigantamax, its left pincer destroys whatever it hits and its alkaline bubbles melt a foe.
- It signals other Kingler by waving its pincers.
