Its story
Lifestyle
A huge appetite and growth spurts force it to replace its bones. Female only, it evolves into Mandibuzz and chases weaker creatures.
In the anime
It debuts at Layla’s daycare, where it usually fights with Rufflet. The feud ends after Rufflet saves her from a trio of Amoonguss.
Name origin
The name Vullaby may combine vulture with lullaby or baby. James Turner designed it, with its evolution, after a vulture chick.
Did you know?
- They bicker endlessly over which bones are most comfortable.
- Added late to Black and White: already too many birds, yet the designs were approved.
- It often passes its older bones down to smaller Vullaby.
