Lifestyle
Its bones turn the wind into electricity, then it dives to shock prey such as Arrokuda. Its nests crackle on coastal cliffs. It evolves into Kilowattrel.
In the anime
A Wattrel steals Roy's sandwich, then, once cornered, tries to drive Roy and Fuecoco off with a loud commotion. Unable to leave with its flock, it is caught by Roy and later evolves.
Name origin
Wattrel may blend watt and petrel, a play on storms and lightning. It suggests a storm petrel, linked to bad weather at sea, and an aviator's cap.
