Its story
Lifestyle
It chases anything fast and makes sparks from its tail as it runs, but cannot store that power. In Galar it herds Wooloo for treats, then evolves into Boltund.

Professor Cerise owns a Yamper, usually seen at home with Chloe.
Name origin
Yamper is based on a Welsh corgi, famous as Queen Elizabeth II's dog in the country that inspired Galar. Its name blends yap, ampere, and scamper.
