Appearance
Aerodactyl is a bipedal prehistoric reptile, like a pterosaur with dragon features. Light blue-gray skin, violet wings with grasping hands, a ridged snout, serrated fangs, and an arrow-shaped tail.

Lifestyle
It glided while crying out, walked slowly, and nested in the mountains. Restored from amber, it can Mega Evolve into a stony form that attacks anything that moves.
In the anime
In Restore and Renew!, Goh finds an Old Amber at the Pewter Museum. Team Rocket revives a berserk Aerodactyl, which he calms and catches.
Name origin
Its look mixes Jurassic pterosaurs and the wyvern. In the English beta, and still in Japanese, it was called Ptera.
